What We Did This Week: May 7-11

It was a real crazy week. Homosexual marriage was a hotly contested issue. The price tag for people considering graduate school or who are currently in grad just went up. NBC renewed all of their old shows and bought some new ones, which means some of your favorites like 30 rock will get a shortened (final) season. Lebron won his 3rd MVP.

Here’s what we did this week:

- Passion Pit has a new album, cue cheer’s and round of “Hip Hip Hooray!”

- Dorothy Day and her Catholic Worker had a b-day. 

- “So what we have are young people who are at least receptive to Christianity’s values and principles, but are turned off by its hypocrisy and strong judgment as it exists today.” 

- What if you could live to 150 years? Would you want that? Well, people are working on it. 

 

Do you listen to Fresh Air on NPR? Do you now who Mike Birbiglia is? If you answered “No” to both of those questions. This video will not interest you.
