Ok, to be fair…not everyone like Obama.

To be fair, I (not necessarily the views of the rest of TPQ members) am a fan of Obama. I don’t really care for Mitt Romney and the majority of the Republican side I have trouble with.

BUT…

I think it behooves me to provide you with this article. It is titled, “Why I refuse to vote for Barack Obama.” If nothing else I believe it is important for men and women to be informed and educated voters. Unfortunately, the more informed you get the more depressing the whole thing becomes. We realize that politicians are playing to their richest donors, or playing games with their constituents. Basically, politics is no fun and you really wish we could start over. But, since Revolution is not a thing (yet!), we still need to participate in the process.

Here’s a quote from the article that basically says the opposite of that last sentence, but whatever.

Sometimes a policy is so reckless or immoral that supporting its backer as “the lesser of two evils” is unacceptable. If enough people start refusing to support any candidate who needlessly terrorizes innocents, perpetrates radical assaults on civil liberties, goes to war without Congress, or persecutes whistleblowers, among other misdeeds, post-9/11 excesses will be reined in.

So, for those of you who wish I/We at TPQ would play both sides, there you go. The above article has the word “refuse” in the title. That is a serious word.
