Some Thursday Tunes

Posted by

Hey, how are you doing? Are you ok? Do you need a little pick me up? Well, here’s a few songs that will bring out of the dumps my friend.

This is how I see you experiencing these songs: Eyes closed, face swinging side to side , lips pursed and some light air drumming.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

  • Mississippi Queen! Love it! Though I do think of Guitar Hero, lol. And can’t go wrong with Cocaine. And I listen to Black Betty almost every time before I go to the gym. I love Spiderbait’s version. Look it up. They sped up the tempo a bit; and it’s a tad more rockier.

Some songs that get me out of the dumps:

    1. Unsatisfied, by The Replacements
    2. I Try, by Macy Gray (yea, I said it, lol)
    3. Down the Road, by C2C
    4. Leaving Here, by Pearl Jam
    5. Just like Heaven, The Cure
    6. Summer of 69, by Bryan Adams
    7. Semi-charmed life, by Third Eye Blind
    8. Hanginaround, by Counting Crows
    9. Trippin Billies, by Dave Matthews Band
    10. Slide, by Goo Goo Dolls
    11. Hush, Kula Shaker (a cover of Deep Purple)
    12. I Want to Break Free, by Queen
    13. Roll with the Changes, by REO Speedwagon
