This week I taught a class on social media and social relations in the digital age. We explored several questions, including the possibilities for empowerment and new forms relationality. Most interesting to me are the rapidly changing ideas of personhood in digital space, which is nowhere and everywhere. That reminds me of a quote that I read (on the internet of course) from Judith Butler, who was quoting Giles Delueze, who was quoting Baruch Spinoza:
“What can a body do?” (Qu’est-ce que peut un corps?)
